STAGE 48: Tim Follin

STAGE 48: Tim Follin

While a small number of video game composers go on to achieve great fame thanks to their work in the industry, there are countless others who receive little to no attention at all . One of those often forgotten great video game composers is Tim Follin. A talented individual who’s career has been often hindered by the poor quality of the games he composed music for, so such that despite his considerable talent as a composer, his work is regularly overlooked in favor of other, more well known composers who simply had the good fortune to work on high profile releases.

Why not? I mean Alot of anime is filled with over-the-top action and unique characters that the end result does lend well to a video game adaptation.

So with that, this STAGE of the retro VGM revival
hour is dedicated to video games based on a manga/anime series.

STAGE 30: Ninjas

STAGE 30: Ninjas

Ninjas: The stealthy, deadly assassins that have captured our imaginations worldwide since they emerged from Japanese history and folklore to find their way into popular culture.

C’mon, admit it, we all loved ninjas growing up. Their involvement in video games have allowed gamers the ability to step into the world of a ninja and experience the life of a skilled martial artist. Be honest, What’s better than ninjas themselves? Taking control of a ninja and actually performing all of the incredible feats yourself in video game form, of course.

So save up some shurikens, sharpen your katana blade and slither through the shadows as we dedicate this STAGE of the retro VGM revival Hour to the music from various Video Games featuring Ninjas!
